lyrics
You planned your ruse well, you played us all
Nobody saw it coming, it was fool proof, we are flawed
You played your game well, everybody knows
It's hard to believe now, what we all fell for
No turning back, you have deceived
You planned your ruse well, you played us all
Now dismay is thrown our way, anger fills up all our tray
Can't find a way to process all this pain
It’s useless, Yeahhh
You forced your ways upon us, we all conformed
We were completely blind, It was seamless, we were conned
The mole that’s been conceived, now all is in the clear, you planned your ruse well, you played us all
Now dismay is thrown our way, anger fills up all our tray
Can't find a way to process all this pain
It’s useless, Yeahhh
You now have what you have craved
You swept in, we were ill pray
Your steps to an end will lead you away
Now dismay is thrown our way, anger fills up all our tray
Can't find a way to process all this pain
Its useless, Yeahhh

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
